The Administration Division is a supporting division of the CSIR-Oil Palm Research Institute. It has the responsibility to coordinate activities of other Divisions of the Institute. The Administration Division is made up of six (6) sections/ Units, which include Human Resource/ Registry, Transport/Mechanical Workshop, Estate and Development, Security, School and Guest House.

The Human Resource/Registry is in charge of staff records and official correspondence. This Section is also responsible for duties such as organizing interview for appointment, organizing meetings and conferences, making arrangement for accommodation for staff and official guests, performing public relations duties and other staff welfare issues.

Activities of the other sections under the Administration Division focus on maintenance and structural development, vehicular maintenance and provision of transport services.

The Security Section which falls under the Administration Division is also responsible for protection of lives and properties in the Institute.
