

Adjarko graduated from Cape Coast Polytechnic in 2003 with first class honours in Statistics and obtained his BSc degree in Economics and Statistics at Garden City University College (Kumasi) in 2012 with second class upper. He studied for his MSc at University of Cape Coast in 2016 specializing in General Statistics.
Adjarko’s professional career began in 1997 with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research - Oil Palm Research Institute (CSIR-OPRI) as a Field Assistant Grade 1 and was promoted to Technical Officer in 2013. In 2006, he was promoted to Senior Technical Officer and then again promoted to Principal Technical Officer in 2009. After obtaining his BSc in 2012 he was promoted to Chief Technical Officer.. In June 2018, he was promoted to Principal Technologist a Senior member position in CSIR after the acquisition of the Master of Science in Statistics from University of Cape Coast.
On the local scene, he was the assistant team leader for the Socio-Economic aspect of the French Special Project (FSP) from 2005 to 2009, which worked on the Economic effects of Cape Saint Paul Wilt Disease (CSPWD) on coconut farmers in Western, Central and Volta Regions of Ghana.
He is currently assisting the Head of Agronomy to undertake climate change adaptation project from 2018 on the topic : “How adaptation can reduce the negative impacts of climate change on oil palm-maize intercropping systems in the semi-deciduous forest zone of Ghana: The use of climate and crop growth simulation models (DSSAT v 4.7.5).”
